I like this one, friendly and a good choice of beers. The decor is worth a visit on its own, nice little lounge and traditional long bar. Can get busy when Birmingham playing. The food is pub food (sandwiches and pies) if you want to dine out this is not for you. This is no plastic Irish pub with a bicycle hanging from the ceiling, its the real McCoy. Also try crawling the neighbouring pubs, a lot of visitors to the city dont discover this great part of Birmingham.

The landlady here is a genuinely nice person and they will always make you a sandwich if you are hungry.
