I had a pleasant dinning experience at this restaurant. We turned up on a weekend when it was very busy. The staff found us a table I was very impressed with the service.
The food was fine the sweet excellent. A senior member of staff went around to the tables asking customers if they were enjoying their food.
I eat out a great deal I've eaten at the Dorchester and many of Birmingham's' fine eating establishments I really enjoyed eating here. The price was good for what we ate and drank!
The fault that I can identify was that the was not enough food, but if we had booked or arrived earlier who knows?
This place encapsulates all that is so cosmopolitan about Birmingham.
DEEP Caribbean Cuisine provided an excellent buffet for an event hosted at our offices on Tuesday 27th October.
The food was delicious, fresh and very well presented. Restaurant owners Derek and Pauline were friendly, welcoming, helpful and very professional in the way they dealt with us each step of the way.
The guests at our event were extremely complimentary about the food and have requested the restaurant's contact details for future bookings.
I was pleased to pass on their details and I have no hesitation in recommending their services to other colleagues and friends. We certainly will be using their services again.

The Deep Caribbean Experience is a new quality Caribbean Restaurant in Birmingham City Centre.
This exclusive Caribbean Restaurant has friendly staff, delicious food and the service is fantastic
The Restaurant is just minutes from the busy heart of Birmingham’s city centre, within walking distance from New Street Train station, Birmingham’s main theatres and the famous “Bull Ring” shopping complex.
This Caribbean Restaurant is also minutes away from the National Indoor Arena, Symphony Hall, International Convention Centre and Broad Street.
My friend recommended this place. I visited the other day.. I was happy with the food, but would have liked more choice on the buffet.
The main problem was that the music was far too loud. It was more like a bar than going out for a relaxing meal.
We had to talk very loud to hear each other, as so did everyone else. This meant it was even louder.
The staff were all very pleasant but were very slow at taking our orders and even slower at clearing our table of dirty plates.
A few friends told me about this restuarant so I decided to take my mom there for mothers day.
They was fully booked so I was unable to get a table, this show me that they are very popular so instead I decided to book it for me and my girlfriend for my birthday 2 weeks ago.
I have never had West Indian food before, therefore the idea of a buffet was ideal for me as I could try different things.
I tried everything, there was a good selection of food and the flavours left a long lasting taste in my mouth which I never want to forget as it was so nice.
The customer service was excellent, although at times they were a bit late collecting the empty plates from our table but it was all done with a smile and they were always so polite.
The atmosphere and the decor of this restuarant was very relaxing.
I suggested it to a friend for her birthday and 12 of us went last week. I have to say my experience only got better, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
I just found out that they do a takeaway delivery. I am glad that I am a local. LOL.
Having been to this place before the revamp we had thoroughly enjoyed it and were really looking forward to it.
We Arrived on a Saturday night, was informed it was a buffet style menu, with no option to choose from the main menu, we had not been informed when we booked and took a menu away to see what was on offer, the sparse buffet costs £14.95 per head and runs Fri,sat, sunday apparently, we were a bit perplexed because the tempting menu we took away makes No mention of a weekend buffett .
They were clearly overbooked as they has a party of over 30 in who seemed to think they had the place to themselves, and constantly stood in and blocked the walkways.
The buffett menu was not extensive, there was no Curried chicken no jerk chicken, no festival, no hard dough bread on offer(which was what the majority of our group were looking forward to), and a bit of fried plantain and callaloo was the only offering for vegetarians.
The food on offer was bland and underspiced. The only impressive dish was the soup. The music was unbearably loud R &B, and more the level of a nightclub bar than that of a restauraunt, we found it difficult to hear our conversation or what the waiting staff had to say to us. we could not wait to get out.
Very disappointing experience. will not be going back.Wish I could echo other positive reviews but I can't on this occasion.
Has much improved since its take over. Love the menu so much to choose from!
